Hello Deviants, I have been VERY inactive on my account these past couple of years. I have been what we call VERY busy. In the past two years I have gotten engaged, studied abroad in Israel, graduated from college, got a new job, started my masters program, and got married. All of my activities have put me in a state of stress and tension. This morning I found my sketch book, I began to doodle and all of those tensions began to fall away; it was in that moment that I remembered why I like art so much. So Believe it or not, I have actually done some art, my scanner is just too small. I really need to make a trip to the library so I can up load my lame attempts at art! So a couple of weeks ago one of my best friends moved away. She went to Kansas City to go to IHOP's [International House of Prayer] school of music and ministry. I will miss her tones, but I am so happy for her, she's been wanting to go up there for years! And my other bestest buddy, ~Platonic49 (https://www.deviantart.com/platonic49) will be leaving me nest Aug. went she goes to do her internship. I finally finished that piece I was working on! It turned out ok... I may be a little too critical, but I'm not really sure I did a very good job. It was the hardest thing I have attempted [art wise], but I guess I will let you all be the judge. The pieve is an attempt at a portrait of my friend Summer. I've been working all summer break long trying to learn how to draw more realisticly. I don't really think that I have achieved that goal, but as soon as I can get to a scanner I will upload my most rescent attempt. School is starting back up soon. I don't know how I feel about that... excitment or dread!?! But I hope everyone has a great res
